Surveying the drilled piers and foundation slabs with offsets begins PGM’s process of building concrete foundations. Batter boards are utilized to lay out foundations as well as to verify X & Y grid lines for proper locations. Foundations slabs are excavated, followed by drilling for the drilled piers. PGM then sets the forms, rebar cages, and anchor bolts. Final verification of bolt spacing is performed prior to the final tasks of pouring and finishing the concrete and stripping and backfilling around the concrete foundations.
